Our Survey

We're excited to launch our Youth Mobilities, Aspirations, and Pathways (YMAP) survey!

This is the first of three surveys we hope to conduct over the course of our project.

It's a survey about young people who travel into or out of Australia for any purpose for a period of six or more months.

In particular, we're interested in transnational mobility amongst young people (aged between 18-30 of British, Chinese, Indian and Italian heritage/ancestry) moving both into/out of Australia and to understand their experiences over time.

This means that we're looking for people who fit the following criteria:

  • Aged 18-30

  • Identify with having British, Chinese, Indian or Italian heritage or ancestry

  • Australia citizens/residents currently spending six months or more living, working, studying or travelling overseas

OR

  • Aged 18-30

  • Identify with having British, Chinese, Indian or Italian heritage or ancestry

  • Citizens/residents of a country other than Australia, currently spending six months or more living, working, studying or travelling in Australia

If this sounds like you and you're keen to take part, then please following the link below as we'd love to hear from you...

This study has received Deakin University ethics approval (reference number: 2017-315).
